Training Rivendale Lodge takes a very proactive approach towards the training of all our staff. Focussed on Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia, all staff receive specialist training in these fields in addition falls prevention, protection of vulnerable adults, first aid and all other mandatory training requirements. Further, we also have an in-house trainer, not to mention an excellent relationship with the local YMCA NVQ assessment team. We have, and are in the processing of sponsoring a number of staff through their care NVQ's and believe strongly in personal development. Care is not a dead end career at Rivendale Lodge - by developing the staff of today, we actively promote the management, assessors and trainers of the future. We are also the proud recipient of the 2006 YMCA Super Employer award, for our dedication to Staff Training & Career Development in the Healthcare Sector.
