Introduction

Rivendale Lodge was opened in 1986 as a residential care home, before specialising into the EMI care group a few years later.

Re-branded from 'Brook Hill' in February 2007, Rivendale Lodge is an adapted Edwardian manor house, registered for 27 residents, with 23 single bedrooms and 2 shared bedrooms. Situated on one of the premier roads in Eastbourne, Rivendale Lodge is within easy reach of the local town facilities and also the District General Hospital.

Rivendale Lodge has undergone many improvements and changes over the last eighteen months, working closely with the RCHA, CQC, and East Sussex Social Services.

Future Plans for the home also include the addition of a platform lift to be situated at the rear of the building and providing access to the first and second floor - work is due to start in the 4th quarter 2009.

We also intend to add a conservatory to the front of the building in 2009, adding to our continued goal for providing further communal space. This is the second stage of our expansion plan, the first part of which was to enlarge the home's lounge area, which is now almost complete.
