Events Rivendale Lodge runs a number of special events for our residents throughout the calendar year, culminating in our annual summer fete, which is open to the public. For those interested in seeing photos, please follow the link at the end of the event details, if available. Events Highlights - Summer 2009 - Throughout late spring and early summer we have run more events, including a great garden party, come barbeque, on Father's Day and further celebrations of birthdays, anniversaries, and special occasions. Summer 2009 Photos Events Highlights - Spring 2009 - During the course of Spring the home has run numerous events, both on Mother's Day, Easter and more, not to mention resident birthdays and other special occasions. Spring 2009 Photos Christmas Events 2008 - Hot off the press, photos of events, activities and special occasions that have taken place over this very busy festive season, and also including all the resident Calendar Photos. Christmas 2008 Photos Events Highlights 2008 - We have run a number of events throughout the year, including parties, celebrating special occasions and events. Here can be found a selection of highlight photographs taken throughout the year. 2008 Photos Christmas Events 2007 - We have a number of events planned for the Christmas calendar, including the residents party, with live musical entertainment and a visit by father Christmas himself. All family and friends are warmly invited to attend. Christmas 2007 Photos Summer Fete 2007 - Despite very unpredictable weather leading up to this year's fete, the weather finally held for us, and the Mayor, the Worshipful Mary Pooley, launched the event to become a great success. Our fete normally takes place near the end of July or August, so please feel free to enquire if you'd like to come along to our next one. Fete 2007 Photos Easter - On the 9th April 2007, we held an Easter party for the residents, family and friends, with both a magician and live musical entertainment. Easter Photos Renaming Ceremony - On the 3rd February 2007, the home was officially renamed from Brook Hill to Rivendale Lodge, officiated by the Mayor and attended by many family and friends to the home. Renaming Ceremony Photos Summer Fete 2006 - This year's fete was a resounding success. Not only was it a great event for all the residents and their families, but we were blessed with glorious weather and the annual turnout by the public was nearly overwhelming. Our fete normally takes place near the end of August, so please feel free to enquire if you'd like to come along to our next one. Fete Photos Halloween Party - This year's annual Halloween party and fireworks display was held on Saturday, 4th November between 6 - 8 PM. Enjoyed by residents and their families alike, we put on a fireworks display in the grounds, whereby everyone could watch from the safety of our garden patio, with hot soups and other refreshments to keep us warm. Halloween Photos During the course of the year, we also take numerous photographs to record special occasions (Birthday's, wedding anniversaries, etc) or events (Coffee Afternoons, Garden Party, etc).
